When asked why she joined the Lions club she postulates thus:

“At a time I felt I was in need and people came to my aid by helping me, they lifted me from being poor to an average person so i developed this hunger in me to give back to the society because you are blessed to bless others. I looked out for an opportunity to explore the humanitarian virtue in me, i cannot do it alone but i know i can join resources with two or more people to serve a larger community that’s why i joined the Lions club and since then there is no going back.
