Ace Nollywood Filmmaker and Director, Amb. Dr. Lancelot Imasuen has mourned very gravely the passing of Akwa Ibom Governor’s wife, Pastor Lady Patience Umo Eno as he extends his heartfelt condolence to Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno on the shocking demise of his beloved wife.
The ‘Guvnor’ as he’s fondly called by his colleagues and fans commiserated with the Eno family, the government, and the people of Akwa Ibom state over this colossal loss.
Imasuen who joined them in mourning the painful and profound loss of the state’s First Lady, acknowledged that she was a pillar of support to Governor Eno’s administration.
He affirmed that Patience Eno, as the wife to a visionary governor and an ordained gospel minister, embodied humility, humanity, and loyalty.
Speaking with Global Affairs Magazine in an exclusive interview, Imasuen postulates that the news of the fisrt lady’s death came to him as a rude shock.
His words: “I mourn very gravely the passing of a great woman, a beloved woman, a woman of God, a good woman, a kindhearted individual, the person of her excellency, Lady Pastor Patience Umo Eno, wife of the executive governor of Akwa Ibom state.
“I find her death at this critical time very disheartening because i can attest by my meeting her excellency that she was a very good woman. A God-fearing woman, a very good wife and mother. Sadly Akwa Ibom state will miss her greatly because this is the time that she is needed most.
“I pray that God in his infinite mercies grant Pastor Umo Eno the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss as well as her lovely children i pray that God grant them solace at this very difficult time and it’s my prayer that God grants her soul eternal rest.
“Continue to rest in peace Lady Patience,” he concluded.
Recall that the AKWA Ibom State Government on Friday, announced the passing of Pastor Patience Umo Eno, wife of the state governor, Pastor Umo Eno. According to the press release the First Lady died following an undisclosed illness.
