Multiple award-winning international Edo born filmmaker and culture activist, Amb. Dr. Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen popularly known as the ‘Guvnor’ has congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo on his victory at the Edo State Governorship election.
Imasuen extended his congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate and governor-elect of Edo State, following his victory in the September 21, 2024 governorship election.
His words: “Wholeheartedly i congratulate the governor elect of Edo state, the person of Senator Monday Okpebholo, aka Akpakomiza and his deputy governor elect Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa. This is wishing them the best of governance as we look forward to see them steer the leadership of Edo state, we pray that God will grant them direction and purposeful leadership for the good of all.
“I want to particularly draw the attention of our governor elect to the booming entertainment and culture all over the world and Edo state must not be left behind. Things are needed, environment should be made more conducive, road should be tarred, serious investment in this area for massive youths’ empowerment and engagement.
“The outgoing administration has done notably well in entertainment, we pray that this incoming government will follow the part and take it to a much greater height.
