Amidst the biting economic hardship that has cast shadows of pain over many families, the unwavering acts of philanthropy and support from Lahor Foundation towards the less privileged is highly commendable as Engr. Princepaul Orobosa Agbonlahor, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lahor Conglomerates based in Nigeria and in the United States took it upon himself to embark on a nationwide distribution of food items to the needy.
When asked what motivated these philanthropic moves in an exclusive interview with Global Affairs Magazine, he posited that his mother’s philanthropic act birthed his philanthropic movement.
“My mother was a local chef, at the time and owned a restaurant back then. Whatever income she made..she would use to support these children, pay their fees, also give them food. It continued like that for a very long time till she passed on. So, I took it upon myself to continue from where she stopped and named it Lahor Foundation.
“My mother motivated the whole foundation and helping the needy program. I grew up seeing my parents give and help a lot. So, it became a huge part of me.” He enthused.
