It was a jubilation galore yesterday, 1st of September at the Synagogue Church of all Nations SCOAN, as a demon possessed lady, Melvina who God delivered through the SCOAN leader, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, gave an earthshaking testimony of how heaven defeated hell penultimate Sunday at the Synagogue Church of all Nations.
Melvina recounted how she was sent from the kingdom of darkness to come fight and disgrace Pastor Evelyn Joshua just to create a scene that will go viral on the internet but unfortunately for and the multitude of demons that accompanied her, she was defeated. She posited that her intentions were to seduce the evangelist and tear pastor Evelyn Joshua’s clothes, but her purpose was defeated as there was so much fire everywhere in the church auditorium. The legion of demons in her could not withstand the fire and they all fled and left her.
According to a correspondence of Global Affairs Magazine who witnessed the incident, whilst pastor Evelyn Joshua was ministering deliverance on the demon possessed lady, the demons in her began to manifest and scream, “her husband is here! TB Joshua is not dead, he is everywhere in the Synagogue, we can’t withstand the glorious light all over him, his shoes are full of fire, everywhere in the church auditorium is fire, we can’t operate here, we can’t carry out our mission, you are on your own, we are leaving this place.” The demons said to Melvina as they fled.
The demons in Melvina were extremely powerful. But they were not able to withstand the power of the Almighty God. As the evangelist and Pastor Evelyn Joshua countered every lie from the demonic world, the fire of the Holy Ghost burned the demons in Melvina and she began to confess. “You have won me, I accept defeat,”
“When I was about 12 years old,” said Melvina on September 1, 2024 – exactly a week after her deliverance in The SCOAN – I started to have dreams in which I saw strange beings.” Those dream encounters eventually affected Melvina’s life in many negative ways. “I became unruly and stubborn and got into gambling addiction,” she continued. All the while, however, Melvina hid her delinquent behaviour from her doting father.
“I was his favorite child,” she admitted, but my mother knew about it all.” The more Melvina gambled, the more she lost her money. “Sometimes Melvina would throw a pity party in order to extort money from people. “I would lie to them that my mother was gravely ill,” she said. At other times she would borrow money that she could not pay back. “Many of the lenders would come to my mother and demand that she pay them,” she said.
One day, Melvina’s mother gave her Anointing Water that she had got from The SCOAN. “The Anointing Water made me manifest for several hours that day,” she recalled. Melvina’s aunt then advised that she be brought to The SCOAN. As her father got the funds ready, however, he got into an accident that required him to divert the funds to fix the situation. A few months later, her parents managed to find the money. Then the journey began.
Melvina continued as follows: “It took us seven days instead of three to get to The SCOAN because the demons in me were trying to claim mine and the lives of others. They made the journey very difficult, and I had to pray to God to save my life and the lives of others. They caused the bus conductor to fall off the vehicle eventually.” Melvina’s parents and aunt had tricked her into the trip to The SCOAN – and the rest was now in God’s hands.
In the course of the service, even during the choir ministration, Melvina’s demons were suggesting to her to leave. “They wanted to confront the choristers but the Lord took control,” she said. It would later transpire that the demons were intending to attack Pastor Evelyn Joshua and seduce the evangelist. “I was instructed to disgrace Pastor Evelyn Joshua,” Melvina confessed.
As the battle between Light and darkness raged, Pastor Evelyn Joshua commanded Melvina to shout the name of Jesus Christ. As congregants screamed the name of Jesus, Melvina rapidly began to lose her powers. “Eventually, I raised my right hand, the source of my powers,” she said, “and I joined in calling the name of Jesus Christ.” Melvina said that she saw her demons give up the battle and leave her body! “That night I slept peacefully for the first time.”
Since her deliverance, the young woman has been living a life of freedom and peace. She advised others, “No matter your situation, ask God to show you mercy.” Her mother, Kadijatu, thanked God for saving her daughter. “Now she sleeps easily,” said Kadijatu. Thanking Pastor Evelyn Joshua for caring for her and her daughter, she advised parents to watch over their children. “Watch Emmanuel TV,” she added.
