Color, Class, Glamour As Judith&Gbenga Stage Epoch Wedding In Lagos

The high and mighty in the society and from all walks of life massed in Lagos to honour, rejoice and felicitate with serial entrepreneur, Judith Ikalumhe as she tied the knot with cerebral Oyo born multi-millionaire business mogul, Gbenga Adegoke.

Judith and Gbenga staged a lavish wedding themed ‘God Can’. The event will arguably go down in history as one of the most well-attended flamboyant social events held in Lagos in recent times.

Indeed, Saturday, the 17th of August 2024 is a day people living or transacting businesses within the Ikotun axis in Lagos will not forget in a hurry as captains of industry, business Executives, manufacturers, professionals, the diplomatic community, religious clerics, traditional rulers, celebrities, politicians among others swarmed the areas for the solemnization of holy matrimony between Judith&Gbenga.

The high society wedding kicked off at the Synagogue Church of All Nations SCOAN where Gbenga and his beautiful bride, Judith were joined in a holy matrimony.

Delivering the homily at the solemn service shortly after Gbenga and Judith were joined man and wife, Evangelist Chisom in a message titled: The Christian Home, urged the newlywed to make God the chief husbandman of their union. He emphasized the place of prayer in marriage and implored them to make God and prayer the foundation of their union.

“The Christian home does not just happen it is built, It requires total commitment. Christ Jesus is the foundation of the Christian home. Anything rooted in Christ Jesus will stand the text of time.

“A successful marriage does not involve two perfect people so with this in mind both couple must bear in mind that they are one another’s strength. You are because I am, i am because you are.

“Husband you must love your wife as Chris loved the the church, wife you must be submissive to your husband.”

The wedding ceremony which ended with plenty of pomp and excitement later shifted to the Noble Castle Event Centre for a classy, colourful reception with the crème de la crème in attendance.

Guests were lavishly treated to choice foods, wines and soul-stirring musical renditions at the reception amid glitz and glamour. The ambience of the hall became electrified with thunderous applause when the SCOAN choristers mounted the stage to serenade guests with some of their famous songs, songs that drew the new couple and their parents to the dancing floor.

Speaking with Global Affairs Magazine in an exclusive interview, the bride, Mrs. Judith Gbenga Adegoke, expressed profound gratitude to God as she glided from the league of the ‘unmarried ladies’ to the class of the married women.

“I’m now Mrs. Judith Gbenga Adegoke.

I’m so happy today because each time I see people doing this, I always speak to God that when will it be my turn but I thank God that he made it possible today. Right now I’m the happiest woman on earth.
“So I am full of joy, I’m very happy and I give all thanks to God.”

When asked to advise the singles, she said they should not worry but wait for God’s time like she did because God’s time is the best.

“I waited for God’s time and he did it for me so… ‘God Can’. God will do it for them like he did mine. ‘God Can’!” Mrs Adegoke enthused.

On his path, the elated groom, Mr. Gbenga Adegoke hinted Global Affairs Magazine that he is the most lucky man on earth to wed Judith. According to him, his newly wedded wife is the best woman on earth.

“I bless the name of the lord for what he has done. I feel so great and blessed to have this beautiful and kind hearted woman as my wife because she is a God fearing woman. She is so caring, loving, well brought up. She always care for me since the day I met her so I cherish her so much and I love her so much. She is my soulmate and my prayer partner.”

When asked to advise bachelors who wish to be in his shoes, he took to the scriptures and postulate thus;

“The bible made us to understand that there’s time for everything in life and when God’s time comes everything looks beautiful so I just want to advise them to wait for God’s time because when it comes everything will be beautiful”, He said.

The two love-birds, on Wednesday 14th of August, had their traditional marriage in Lagos. It was a cocktail event elaborately showcasing the rich culture of the Edo people.

Guests walked in glamorously donning strictly traditional attires to the breathtaking event which was a tremendous success.
